Guide to Selling
Frank Harris opened the doors of his first office in 1978. Since then, the business has grown from a single office to four strategically placed offices across central London. We work closely with the 12 London and Surrey branches of our associated company, Jackson-Stops, which has produced excellent results for our clients over the years. We handle a range of stunning properties, from studio apartments through to substantial family homes in what we consider to be the best locations across the Capital.
At Frank Harris & Company we are all proud to be part of a prestigious brand. As a focused team, we work hard to deliver a committed, personal service to our clients at all times, on an informed local level. Above all, we’re here to help.
We never forget the importance of personal service. Our fee is payable upon successful completion of a property sale and there is nothing to pay upfront. Our teams work on a structure of shared commission, which means that it is in everybody’s interest to work collectively on behalf of our client. We provide ongoing training to ensure continuing success. The many client messages of commendation we receive are testament to the highest standards of service we work to.
Your dedicated, experienced local team will create a tailored marketing campaign to suit you and your property.
We work with London’s major search and relocation agents to capture a wider audience and demand from overseas.
You will benefit from the expertise of our people and the way we work closely across our office network; potential buyers are introduced from other branches and we work creatively to achieve success.
We run national retargeting campaigns online to draw visitors to our properties. We have recently introduced Reach in some of our offices, our award-winning marketing tool which allows us to promote your property online to the right audience, in the right place, at the right time. Depending on your property address these can include The Sunday Times, The Financial Times, Barbican Life, Clerkenwell Post and City Matters. These titles have been chosen on the strength of their targeted distribution, circulation figures and quality of content. Our excellent relationships with the publishers ensure we achieve regular additional coverage and editorial for our clients’ properties.
Over 90% of people begin their search online. We will market your property on our own website, as well as other high-profile portals, including Rightmove and Zoopla. We monitor traffic to these sites closely and react quickly to follow up on interest generated.
As members of an online property PR portal, we communicate with property journalists directly who are working on property-related features, which can generate excellent exposure for the properties we market on behalf of our clients.
Your property can be promoted across a range of social media sites, predominantly Facebook and Twitter. Your property will benefit from the additional exposure this valuable marketing tool brings, its ability to reach a wider audience and the way in which it achieves a stronger ‘lifestyle’ connection between your property and potential buyers than more traditional methods.

The years of experience amassed by our teams is perhaps the greatest strength we offer to our clients. We are well-versed in the complexities of property transactions in the Capital; we offer skilful negotiation skills and interpersonal qualities to achieve success within what can be a complex market.
Our teams network regularly within their local areas to forge links and provide a trusted presence within the community. This proves successful when sourcing buyers who might choose not to deal with agents through the more formal channels of communication.
Timely communications from our London research department enable our teams to pass on insightful information to clients about prevailing market conditions. We consider a trained, informed and experienced approach to be one of the most important ways in which we achieve success for our clients.
We will prepare a bespoke draft brochure for your approval. We can provide guidance about the latest Consumer Protection Regulations to ensure you are fully compliant with this legally-binding legislation relating to property descriptions.
Your property will feature in one or more of our office window displays. Our branches are located in highly-visible areas of London and all enjoy a high level of footfall of potential buyers passing by.
We will listen carefully to how you would like us to communicate with you and will take note of any particular requirements you may have. We will stay in touch regularly, provide timely feedback and continue to review the strategy to ensure you are happy with how the marketing of your property is progressing.
