Covent Garden has good transport options with the Piccadilly Line tube station situated right in its heart on the north of the piazza. If you’re feeling lazy, a tube to Leicester Square or Piccadilly Circus takes only minutes, with a trip to South Kensington taking just 10 minutes.
The soon-to-be-opened Crossrail hub at Tottenham Court Road will cut journey times to Canary Wharf, accessed in12 minutes and Heathrow Airport in 30 minutes, forming part of the huge redevelopment and pedestrianisation of the iconic Centre Point skyscraper at the junction of Charing Cross Road and Oxford Street.
But one of the joys of Covent Garden is how accessible everything is by foot. It’s in easy strolling distance of so much fun stuff, being right next door to Soho, China Town for deliciously authentic food and the West End, and it’s also only a 15-minute walk to the diverse cultural joys of the Southbank via The Strand.
